today was a day of site reunion as I was searching the web i came across two site I haven't seen for awhile.

Warhammer Online
A new mmorpg coming out that it shaping up pretty well, it might be a good contender against WoW. One thing is for sure im defiantly trying it out, I'm particularly interested by the prospect of large scale realm vs realm combat with npcs and player to make battles larger.

Last Friday Bob, Ken, Lalo, and Wyatt came by to test the new improvements to the zombie game. I was successful in creating 200 more cards, The game was much more dynamic and interesting. We played a couple games and decided it needed more new cards.

Yesterday night Jesse and Bob came over to test a new game i designed based on zombie survival movies, specifically mall survival movies. Overall it got high praise and I was very happy with the mostly positive input, the only negative being that there wasn't more. So today I'm going to get more index cards to enlarge the game by at least 200 more cards. A brief synopsis for those who don't know I've been working on this zombie game for awhile, its based around 6 typical survivors (mall security, clerk, shopper, etc.) and a 20 location area being the mall. The objective of the game is to reach the front gate with a key that's lost in the mall somewhere, and the only thing in your way is an ass load of zombies. Events and unique zombies change things up and make each game interesting. The most memorable test game for me was when they got the key in the power tools shop after one turn of looking which is phenomenal and they left thinking it would be smooth sailing the rest of the way. Then the critical Event card popped up which caused three more events to activate, so in stead of a 5 zombie hoard they had a 20 zombie hoard and a behemoth.

Yesterday after school Heather and I went to Disneyland with my dad, step mother and half sister. We had some breakfast at a place right next to Pirates of the Caribbean, the food was pretty good. Then we moved on to riding the Pirates ride then the Haunted mansion when Russel showed up. At that point we decided to go to the admission office where I go an annual pass, so with pass in hand we hopped over to California adventure where we rode the bear river ride a number of times then on to Soarin'. After Soarin' as luck would have it mom and Scott showed up, we rode the river ride while others went to Hollywood. After a few more rides it was almost time for me to go so we got on the buzzlightyear ride real quick and then I got some fudge for Adora and left. I had some difficulties reaching Adora but eventually I got there and we both had a fun night together. The next morning we went to a place in LA called green tea terrace and had the best crepes I've had yet. I drove her to work then left and had an uneventful ride home. Game is tonight and I expect to have fun. =)

Review: Venture Brothers Season 2 Dvd

If you've seen venture brothers and love the show which is most likely the case then there really isn't any reason at all to not get the DVD. Though there is a lack of special options, the only one of note being deleted scenes and commentary tracks, the show itself is fun and thought provoking. I'm saddened by the news that the series isn't as popular as some others on adult swim, but to be honest there new lineup really sucks. Season 2 is more action packed and loaded with comedy then the first season and is defiantly worth the money.

So apparently my dad is visiting from Washington today, which means I should be seeing him tomorrow after work. I'm happy to be seeing him again as well as my half sister emerald and step mother Lisa. As time moves forward I start thinking more and more that I need a vacation from people, my vacations aren't flashy or expensive they're just time away from people. I am a lonely person by nature, I choose to have people close to me and I don't know why.

Last night Bob, Sharon, Jesse, Ken and I all hung out and watched the second season of Venture brothers. We had a lot of fun and it was nice doing something without the pain inducing pressures of game. Sometimes I think about why I put myself through something as painful as game continually every week. The only reason why I put up with it is because I enjoy making people happy, on the other hand I wonder what would have happened if I had continued my isolation. My dad has been wanting to talk to me for the past couple of days about my childhood and other psychological questions. I don't really have answers for him, nor do I want to think about my childhood right now. I told him this a little while ago and yet hes still persistent on speaking to me about it. I'm not sure exactly how to go about it so Ive been ignoring him, I know its rude but I really don't want to talk about my childhood or my psychological state.

Game 01: Sci-Fi Horror 2

Now that you've been properly educated, and if you're still don't know what the hell I'm typing check the last post or get the hell out. So we begin right after Jesse lost his arm and other members of the party are starting to become insane. They decide to go down to the next level then enter the gym only to find a giant robot in there with plenty of dead bodies around it. The players spit between the escapees and the ones who duck behind bodies and fight. The fight was remarkably short after kyle 2 scored a lucky shot to incapacitate the robot. They quietly remove themselves before the beast wakes to take its revenge. Around the next hallway they find a hoard of fifteen zombies which took only a few grenades and some shots to kill, Sharon was unlucky and ran out of ammo. They then decide to go to the bio lab to score some med packs, they find instead a room of horrors and an eight foot tale monstrosity. The creature was not only strong but fast too, unfortunately it had to dodge far too many shots to be effective. Most shots it was able to either shrug off or avoid, but as soon as it hit the ground Sharon delivered the final shot that went from its mouth and out its ass. After that fiasco they decided that they need more weapons and ammo, so they go back up a level to the armory. They make it to the weapons without incident, they scored five clips and a light repeating blaster. However when they entered the grenade storage they where only able to get a single grenade before a zombie appeared and blew the room up which almost cost woodson and kyle 2 their lives. Then we ended game on account of it being 11pm.

Game 01: Sci-Fi Horror

This post will be for getting people up to speed on what where doing in game so that the next post will make a bit more sense. As you can tell the theme of game is a Sci-Fi Horror, the players are the crew of a scavenger vessel down on its luck. To there surprise they hear of a abandoned space station loaded with expensive hardware, too good to be true? well ten seconds into the boarding they find a half eaten body and the airlock leading to there ship is locked from a remote location one floor down. I am just going to touch on the highlights of whats happened so far, first off Sharon stumbles onto a closed hatch with blood thirst zombie kindergartners. Jesse viciously kills a modified robot with his chain saw sword. The group stumbles across a crazed group of people cannibalizing people. Jesse lost his arm from a crazed scientist with a vial of acid. Sharon, Jesse, and Woodson almost got sucked into space. The group fought and killed A hoard of zombies, a Giant Robot, and a genetically enhanced monstrosity. The crew roster is as follows: Jesse (Captain), Sharon (Gun-Bunny), Kyle 2 (Gun-Bunny), Brad (Gun-Bunny), Woodson (Engineer), Ken (Technician), Bob (Doctor), Angela (Pilot)

This is my second and last character till City of Villains is released. Prof. Kinesis is an intelligent hero hes more or less Kovel's support, he has electrical powers that energize his kinetic gauntlets of his own design. As a side note in a recent super hero game we had that was set in a modern day high school setting Prof. Kinesis was there as a brilliant sophomore who went by the name of Kid Kinesis. Just in case you where wondering yes, he got beat up a lot for the name alone. =)

So Last night I tried to get as many people as possible over to have fun and hang out at my house with out the stress of game. Unfortunately for me though only two showed up. So Ken, Lalo, and I decided to get some food then we played Naruto Clash of the Ninjas 2, at first I didn't know what to think I tend to stay away from fighting games but this one had charm. I don't know if it was the quick yet easy to learn fighting, or the wealth of multi player options like 4 player versus that I enjoy most. Regardless we had lots of fun and thoroughly enjoyed kicking the crap out of each other, we ended our fun at one so I could get some sleep for work. Little did I know that the Jamba juice green tea I had earlier would keep me tossing and turning till 4 in the morning. All is well though I survived work and here I am now downloading http://www.dungeonrunners.com/ eagerly awaiting the time Adora and I can once again kill things online.

Fractured Story 01: Samurai Deamon

Sometimes I get stories and ideas in my head that i believe are good but rather then write them down for further use I leave them alone and let them fade from my mind, on some more extreme cases if gotten a little drunk just to forget. However due to this recent inspiration to blog I will write down what I can remember from time to time.

My first story involves an honorable Samurai Warrior who actually tries to live up to the code. The story starts off with him getting ready for battle using his preparation time as an opening to discuss his philosophies and a little of his life story. Then the battle begins and he proves himself to be a fierce warrior practically blood thirsty and without mercy, the cost of being such a powerful warrior. Unfortunately for him however he is slain during the fighting and dies in dishonor for being such a beast in warfare. When he discovers his fate in the after life he resorts to violence killing arch daemons and beast of all shapes and sizes before the gods themselves are forced to intervene and capture him themselves. Well after his violent display they throw him down to the deepest depths of hell. Millenniums pass with him getting stronger and stronger gaining items and two forsaken souls as guides and consciences. That is until A god arrives to tell him that monsters from hell are filtering into earth from an unknown source, and that if he wishes he can have a reduced sentence for each Daemon he sends back. This is where the true story begins with our Daemon Samurai hero patrolling the street of modern day Tokyo keeping all three (one is a daemon one the other are still human) eye on a constant lookout for daemons. He travels the globe trying to adapt to this new modern world as well as enter epic clashes with daemons of all sorts.

So as far as recent news is concerned I've been going to school and work though that's just business as usual. Sharon, Jesse, Woodson and I went up to LA this Yesterday, and though they left last night I stayed with Adora (my girlfriend for those out of the loop) till this morning. We had lots of fun as we always manage to do. Though its kind of funny on Wednesday night when i was looking for a parking spot I became irate by the fact that none could be found I attributed the scarcity of spots to a movie preview at the Fox theater near Adora's apartments. Normally a person might be dazzled by this spectacle but not I for two very important reasons, one being that there was a large commotion over a movie called fractured which I haven't even heard of let alone think deserving of such praise. Secondly I've met Will Wright (Creator of the Sims and Spore) in person and had a picture taken with him, That is as star struck as i will ever be.
